Debunking Time & Space: An Exciting New Book Talk by Dr. Edward Ledhouse

What is time? We say that time is infinite in terms of measurement, yet it's the one precious commodity that we always seem to run out of as we carry on with our day-to-day lives. Time is in the abstract, a concept that we can use to calculate nanoseconds and count the days. Yet we also speak of time in terms of the tangible, confining such a concept within the grids of calendars and the tickings of clocks, as though we held time in our hands just as the arrows touch the tolling of noon or midnight. We wind up our worries around time, release our stress in anticipation of having "time off" on weekends and holidays.

It's easy to sit here and say it, but to continue thinking about time and whether we can control it... There lies the puzzle. Is chronology a continuum, or can we truly confine it to pinpoint an exact location in time and space?

Is time ever really something that we can turn on or off? The mere semantics of this peculiar phrasing suggests that yes, we can. We can control time. We can manipulate it. In fact, we even establish geographical boundaries based on one's location and the amount of daylight one can expect from the shifts in solstices each season. Are we just fooling ourselves into thinking that we are saving up on the amount of time we spend at work? Are we really saving the amount of sunlit hours to squeeze in more activities into our days?

If you agree that yes, time can be controlled and manipulated, wouldn't it make sense then, to hypothesize that time travel could not only be plausible, but also entirely possible?

These questions bothered me so much that I ended up writing extensively on the subject. What had originally been an idea for an exploratory essay grew into the framework for a book.

Join me, my fellow colleagues, for a book talk and a discussion on the question of time travel on November 6th at 6:00pm, at Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Union Square.

I would love to explore these ideas with you and learn from your perspectives. Bring your books (or buy them if you haven't already), as I will be signing some copies at the end of the event.

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Regards,

Dr. Edward Ledhouse, Ph.D.

Professor of Quantum Physics & Mechanics, Princeton University

Dr. Edward Ledhouse here. I write this manifesto to prove to the world that I'm not crazy. There is a an element of truth to all of those conspiracy theories: certain horrors hidden by the Pentagon, the U.S. military, the FBI, and the CIA for your protection. The media leaves details out for a reason. The less you know, the better. I write this, to bear witness to the fact that time travel IS possible. However, there are certain limitations still left to consider. It is my responsibility to investigate those limits and document my findings. I only hope that Agent Russo and Agent Fairchild persevere until Operation Eon has been completed.
